Terms of Use
About TripPack · Privacy Policy · Terms of Use
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These Terms of Use describe use of TripPack, a trip planning and packing checklist app provided by Void Lantern Studios. Please read them alongside the TripPack Privacy Policy. Contact support@voidlanternstudios.com with questions or support requests.
Using TripPack
Use TripPack lawfully and only with information you are entitled to use. You are responsible for the travel details you enter, the people you share them with, and your device and cloud-account security. If you cannot legally agree to these terms yourself, use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian who can do so.
TripPack’s software, branding, and supplied content belong to Void Lantern Studios or their respective licensors. Your own trip information and writing remain yours. Using the app does not transfer ownership of your content to us. Do not misuse the app, interfere with other users or services, or copy or distribute its software except as allowed by the applicable license or law.
App-store license terms
For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a different license is expressly supplied through the App Store. These Terms of Use supplement that license with TripPack-specific service information and do not replace it. Applicable store terms and mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. For versions distributed through other stores, the applicable store and license terms also apply.
Travel planning and weather
Packing suggestions, checklists, reminders, and forecasts are planning aids. They may be incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Check your lists and confirm passport, visa, customs, health, airline, baggage, and entry requirements with the relevant official source. TripPack does not make bookings, issue travel documents, or guarantee that you will be prepared or admitted to a destination.
Weather forecasts are estimates and may change. Notifications depend on permission, device settings, operating-system behavior, and timing; delivery is not guaranteed. Use other arrangements for critical deadlines or safety needs. TripPack is not an emergency service or a substitute for professional travel, medical, or legal advice.
Free features and TripPack Pro
TripPack may offer free features and optional paid access, including an annual auto-renewing subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. Available features, prices, taxes, billing periods, and any offers are shown in the app and the store purchase screen before you confirm. Do not purchase based on an expectation of unannounced future features.
Payment is handled by the store where you purchase. An annual subscription renews automatically unless you cancel through that store before its renewal deadline. Follow the cancellation timing shown by the store; for Apple subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next renewal. Deleting the app or clearing its data does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewal while access continues through the paid period, subject to the store’s rules.
A lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase of the access described at checkout, with no recurring subscription charge for that purchase. It does not promise that every future product or separately priced service will be included. If you already have an annual subscription, buying lifetime access does not itself cancel that subscription; manage the annual plan through your store.
Use Restore Purchases where available with the store account that made the purchase. Cross-store transfers are not promised. Refunds, payment disputes, and billing changes are governed by the relevant store and applicable law. Nothing here removes a refund or other remedy you are legally entitled to.
Your data, backups, and optional services
Keep backups of important travel information. Device loss, deletion, a failed import, or conflicting synced changes can affect your data. Review what you import and export and keep a separate copy before replacing existing records. We cannot recover information that is no longer available on your device, in your backups, or with your chosen provider.
Weather, stores, cloud providers, and sharing destinations are operated by third parties under their own terms. You choose and authorize any optional cloud connection. You are responsible for its credentials, access settings, and any provider charges. Third-party services can change or become unavailable. Local planning remains separate from optional online features.
Availability, updates, and responsibility
We may update TripPack to improve it, address security issues, or respond to platform and service changes. Compatibility and online features may vary by device, app version, and region. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or complete accuracy of suggested content. Where the law permits, the app and its informational features are provided as available without additional promises beyond those stated in the applicable license and purchase information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Void Lantern Studios is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on planning suggestions or unavailable third-party services. This does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies or liability for fraud or other conduct for which the law prohibits a limitation.
Stopping use and changes to these terms
You can stop using TripPack at any time. Cancel any subscription separately through your store and manage local, exported, and synced data as described in the Privacy Policy. Store license provisions may also govern termination of your license.
We may revise these terms as the app changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, and changes will not remove rights that applicable law gives you for an existing purchase. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
